  • They will be fast and semi-fast recharging facilities, which allow 80% of the battery to be charged in 20-30 and 60-90 minutes respectively.

Endesa X will install 19 charging points for electric vehicles at Gacosur service stations in the provinces of Huelva, Seville, Cádiz and Málaga.

The collaboration between Endesa X and Gacosur is promoting the installation of fast and semi-fast recharging points, which allow 80% of a vehicle's battery to be charged in 20-30 minutes in the first case and between 60-90 minutes in the case of semi-fast chargers, depending on the vehicle model.

Endesa instalará 19 puntos de recarga de vehículos eléctricos en Andalucía

Endesa X already has two semi-fast charging stations already operating in Gacosur Casariche (Seville) and in Gacosur Parsi in the Sevillian capital, as reported by the company in a statement. They are 22 kW recharging points and each station has one outlet in Parsi and two in Casariche, allowing two vehicles to charge their battery simultaneously. These first recharging points already in operation will be joined by two others in the province of Seville, specifically in Gacosur La Rinconada and Gacosur Utrera.

In La Rinconada, a semi-fast charging station will be installed that will also allow the simultaneous charging of 2 vehicles, while in Utrera a double fast charging station.

In the province of Cádiz, Endesa X and Gacosur are working to complete the installation of 4 fast and semi-fast charging stations. Specifically, fast recharging stations will be installed in Gacosur Palmones and Gacosur Villamartín, where the recharging service can be provided to 2 and 4 vehicles respectively, and a semi-fast station in Jerez de la Frontera to serve 2 vehicles.

Regarding the deployment in Malaga, the installation of a rapid station in the town of Antequera will shortly be carried out.

At the Gacosur service station in Lepe (Huelva) a fast charging station was recently installed to serve 2 electric vehicles that are scheduled to be put into service soon.

Some of the stations are part of the AMBRA-Electrifity Europe Project (2017-IT-TM-0110-W), funded by the European Commission's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF Transport) Program and by the European Investment Bank (EIB).

For Endesa X, one of the objectives of its electric mobility development plan is to facilitate the availability of infrastructure to recharge electric vehicles without consumers and users changing their habits and behaviors, hence the choice to deploy various technologies.
